High Tide is a desert cube where all of the lands either touch blue or are colorless - there is no access to non-island basics. I'm not sure what exactly inspired me but once the idea got in my head it was all I could think about. So let's talk about what that means for blue in the cube. #mtgcube

My idea for Magic promos: Spotlight: Fetch lands for the foreseeable future. 4 Spotlights reward one type of fetch, 16 Spotlights per year, so 4 fetches per year - we'd get 2.5 years of fetch promos. Normal for participation, foil SERIALISED for top 100 with spotlight name. 1/5

One of my fav authors let me down with this one - DNF at about 75% after slogging for a month. The Oppenheimer Alternative sounds really cool but it doesn't pan out that way. This book is a good example of what happens when an author tries to be too smart and forgets to write something enjoyable.

Had a GB 1-3 just before this where I flooded out and had nothing to do with my mana, then to next play this deck where every turn I have a million options is night and day. Still want to be blue whenever possible for basically this reason.
