TheScarvedInsect PUMPKIN TRAIN (2024) I made this back when I still had Tumblr. There was a "pumpkin train" thingy, and I made it literal. #art #oldart #animation #2danimation #loop #gif

TheScarvedInsect TheScarvedInsect Seb Myomorphium, a potential side character for #INTEOTW, heavily inspired by @dorianrattwel.bsky.social. (1/?)🧵 #art #characterdesign #conceptart #characterconcept #oc #ocs
TheScarvedInsect I decided to draw something with Poco DeRichard and Rupi today, since I haven't drawn them in a while. XD #art #traditionalart #INTEOTW #oc #ocs #satire

🏴☠️Ahoy!🏴☠️ I suck at talking like a pirate, so I always dress like one instead. :-) #art #cosplay #pirate #talklikeapirateday #selfie
TheScarvedInsect Frank has something to say! #art #traditionalart #INTEOTW #nostalgia

Happy Dickfuck Day, to all who celebrate! I'm genuinely happy with how these came out. :-) #art #ourflagmeansdeath #ofmdfanart #izzyhands #edteach #DickfuckDay #artchallenge
TheScarvedInsect Modern AU version of the "belonging to something" scene: Ricky is a privileged alpha incel podcaster who fetishises alternative subcultures, and Izzy is the big-breasted goth baddie who ruthlessly calls him out for it. #art #ourflagmeansdeath #ofmd #ofmdfanart #izzyhands #rickybanes
TheScarvedInsect Just found this frame from the intro sans effects in my phone gallery. I loved drawing this so much. XD #art #oldart #INTEOTW
TheScarvedInsect POV: the clown corpse you dragged home from the beach starts saying the most degrading things about your life using possibly the most flirtatious tone you've ever heard. I've been wanting to draw something with Fidel recently. <3 #art #fanart #frank #frank2012 #frankxfidel
TheScarvedInsect The #INTEOTW intro has surpassed 69 likes on here, I'm so happy. :-) I still won't be able to work on it for a while until I can afford a new computer, but I'm so glad people are interested in my silly little guys and their inappropriate cartoon. <3 🫂🖤🫂💜🫂🖤🫂 #art #traditionalart #oc #ocs
TheScarvedInsect I couldn't make it to the festivities and events but still thought to draw something to celebrate. Happy birthday, Con!!! <3 #art #fanart #cononeill #happybirthdaycononeill
TheScarvedInsect I just remembered this old Ed drawing I made in 2024. I think it was in response to one of those "Ed in this outfit" posts from when I used to use Tumblr. #art #ourflagmeansdeath #ofmd #ofmdfanart #oldart #edteach
TheScarvedInsect "No, you must mean the OTHER hypothetical indie dystopian comedy series created by queer Our Flag Means Death fans focusing on two queer and/or disabled men with comically opposite personality traits." (I'M SO SORRY.) #art #fanart #PrivateDicks #INTEOTW #traditionalart
TheScarvedInsect While Ash and Frank are canonically in their late 20s/early 30s, I wanted to imagine Ash and Frank as hot older guys. (more info in replies.) #INTEOTW #art #sketch #oc #ocs #traditionalart
TheScarvedInsect I honestly never listened to much of Ozzy's work until last year after he passed away, but he's honestly quickly become one of my favourite music artists since then. <3 #art #fanart #ozzyosbourne #ozzyday #traditionalart
TheScarvedInsect Mickey and Amelia McWhorter: Ash's strict, nerdy parents who captain a crew of old, cranky sci-fi and comic book nerds on a wheeled spaceship replica on the roads of Earth. #INTEOTW #art #sketch #conceptart #characterdesign #ocs #traditionalart
TheScarvedInsect A visual summary of how I've felt for the past few months. #art #traditionalart #summer

TheScarvedInsect Lonely, Twisted World (2021) A digital painting I made in MS Paint before I eventually switched to Krita. #art #oldart #weirdart
TheScarvedInsect Izzy's still alive, everyone! He's all patched up and recovering aboard the Revenge. <3 #art #DrawIzzyHands #ofmd #ofmdfanart #izzyhands #traditionalart
TheScarvedInsect #WIP for #DrawIzzyHands weekend. #art #ofmd #ofmdfanart #izzyhands #traditionalart #sketch
TheScarvedInsect If I ever get the opportunity to sell plushies of my characters, I'd opt for a strict rule against styles like the Peter on the right. I want to feel like I'm hugging a big, soft, comfy friend, not some real-life PNG that feels like an inflated plastic bag. #art #INTEOTW #oc #ocs #traditionalart
TheScarvedInsect We don't usually see each other’s headers. Quote post with yours. #art #oldart #INTEOTW #oc #ocs
TheScarvedInsect I had this idea for _INTEOTW_ that involved a giant walking hospital that folds out into a huge arena for people's annual checkups, so I sketched out this design for it last night. XD #art #traditionalart #sketch #INTEOTW #WIP
TheScarvedInsect Obligatory unicorn Izzy. <3 I realised after the previous drawing that it'd be better to use a pen for details instead of the same marker as the outlines. #art #traditionalart #ofmd #ofmdfanart #izzyhands
TheScarvedInsect I bought a couple of sketchbooks so I can try to re-learn traditional drawing while I save up for a new desktop PC. #art #INTEOTW #traditionalart #oc #ocs

I went to the Renaissance Festival today with a friend. We had a lovely time. <3 #art #selfie #cosplay
TheScarvedInsect I now have most of my outfit for my trip to a Renaissance Festival tomorrow as a vaguely OFMD-inspired pirate. :-) #art #selfie #cosplay
TheScarvedInsect QRP With your most popular piece on bsky! <3 I'm surprised it's currently the Koala Izzy one. Not my best work, but I'm glad people like it. <3 #art #ourflagmeansdeath #ofmd #ofmdfanart #rizzy
TheScarvedInsect AAAUUUGH FRANK WHAT THE HELL HAVE THEY DONE TO YOU!?!? I love smear frames. XD #art #INTEOTW #oc #ocs #wip
TheScarvedInsect I genuinely don't know if anyone else ships this. <3 I heard that Rare Ship Week was happening, so I drew this as a last-minute art thingy. #art #ourflagmeansdeath #ofmd #ofmdfanart #ofmdrareships #steakknife #magicman
TheScarvedInsect The best part of loose, simple art styles is that you get to have your characters make faces like this. XD #art #INTEOTW #WIP #oc #ocs

TheScarvedInsect Another dumb music thingy I made for the INTEOTW pilot. I'm still shite at making music, but I hope this turned out well. #art #INTEOTW #music #chiptune #16bit #deflemask
