5 minute Metro Tunnel frequencies due to the marathon (of course there’s some kind of delay in one direction so there’s two trains scheduled to arrive at the same time)

Extra PT for today's Marathon, including Metro tunnel trains running every 5 mins much of the day. In 2010 organisers said: "public transport is not an option" - back then the first trains didn't reach the city until 8am. In 2026: "We highly suggest that all competitors take public transport"🏃👍

The Last Tram out of Sandhurst's almost Gone. A Cold Chisel tribute act does Khe Sanh on board Y1 class saloon tram no 610 preparing to run a charter trip. It's gonna be a great night for that lot tonight. (Sound up).

Wearing this hat today as a small tribute to Robert Dow - he gave it to me a few years ago. I first met him in 2011 in Brisbane - he introduced me to then Qld transport minister Annastacia Palaszczuk and some Translink people as his Melbourne equivalent. danielbowen.com/2011... Go well Robert.

Ridiculous obstruction by Bayside Council in Sydney to try to stymie our democratic rights to protest, in a public park. The justified protest is against a hulking data centre shoved hard on the banks of the Cooks River. If the Councillors had any sense they should be standing with the protesters!
