β(α΅α΅α΅)β Maybe my expectations were too high but I walked out of the theater feeling a bit meh. It mostly felt like Mando bouncing between action scenes with barely any plot holding it together and weirdly Rotta ended up being the best thing in the movie. β(α΅α΅α΅)β This one fell under the radar for me but it's unquestionably one of the silliest/funniest films I've seen in years. Don't sleep on it if you're a fan of the Abrahams/Zucker comedies like The Naked Gun (1988), Airplane!, Top Secret!, etc. Fackham Hall πππππ #filmsky

β(α΅α΅α΅)β β(α΅α΅α΅)β β(α΅α΅α΅)β The first half zips by, second half downshifts a bit, but still manages to stick the landing. Hits all the classic underdog sports movie moments. F1 purists might roll their eyes at a few things, but for most people should be a fun, solid ride. F1: The Movie πππππ #filmsky
β(α΅α΅α΅)β Companion (2025) An edgy thriller that blends sci-fi, horror, and satire. The film also explores themes of consent and toxic relationships, incorporating elements of suspense, dark humor, and moments of violence to deliver a thought-provoking narrative. Rating: πππππ #filmsky
β(α΅α΅α΅)β This turned out to be better than I expected. Had a bustling energy to it with some skillful camera work/editing showing off the long takes. The cast nailed their character impressions, and you could really feel the tension building up to that first live SNL performance. πππππ #filmsky
