This is my favorite from John Britt's glaze book. Folk Art Guild White. The speckled clay brings out the 'speckles' #potteryglaze #britt6

John's Jade I - Britt's △6 book p/108 Interesting surface with a mix of glossy and matte (slow cooled) which shifts the color toward turquoise. I wouldn't use it on functional pieces due to: high R2O:RO ratio, high copper content, crazing. Details: glazy.org/recipes/592947 #potteryglaze #britt6
Chun Green I - Britt's △6 book p/108 Classy transparent/celadon glaze. High zinc content paired with slow cooling created crystals giving the tiles a frozen look. Probably the most underwhelming test in the series but a result is a result. Details: glazy.org/recipes/592943 #potteryglaze #britt6
Chun Seafoam - Britt's cone 6 book p/108 Variegated green with graphite undertones. It's always fun to see TiO₂ in action - it gives non-linear effects. My version looks a bit different than usual. Maybe I need to decrease fluxes? See more notes on glazy.org/recipes/592938 #potteryglaze #britt6
Selsor Chun - Britt's cone 6 book p/128 Flowy glaze that is variegated even w/o TiO₂, creates intense copper blue (Cu is usually green). I wanted to get a variegated green, and for this purpose I'm not satisfied. But- the blue is a very happy accident glazy.org/recipes/465580 #potteryglaze #britt6
