Just to update people on Eva Gore-Booth and Esther Roper’s graves in Hampstead, which were in a sorry state in August when I visited (first two pics). Good news is that the whole graveyard has been thoroughly cleaned up and the grass has been cut. Hooray!

Arrived in London from St. Louis this morning, primarily for three Big Big Train concerts next week. Took advantage tonight of seeing the John Hackett Band at West Hampstead Arts Club, playing their own songs and brother Steve's early work. Dikajee opened solo then joined the headliners for 3 songs.

That was an interesting game. Finchampstead won on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Controversy as the winning pen was scored by a player brought back on as a rolling sub which Abingdon didn’t think was allowed. The ref was quite something too.
