Seems clear to me what happened. Burnham packed the Green Party conference with Labour activists, and forced through a controversial motion which implied Zack Polanski is anti-Semitism. They did the same to Corbyn. Just goes to show how much Labour hates the left, while pretending to represent them.

Yes, it was blindingly obvious from the start, so it's not like he's adding to the global stock of knowledge with a shocking revelation or anything. But finally going out and saying it means we can now, if we have the collective courage and energy, go forward to start the task of undoing it all.

Both in this and his conference speech, Andy Burnham has marked the end of the Brexit gaslighting years. I don't believe this interference changed the outcome. But it is important that we have the truth: the EU referendum was a target because a vote for Brexit undermined European security.
