Just another summer Saturday in Boulder #cowx
Tropical Storm Rachel gearing up for a landfall in the northern Baja later today and isn't looking great on satellite with the center free of deep convection. #COwx #CAwx
Year-to-date Boulder has recorded 42 daily record warm temperatures (29 daily maxes + 13 warm lows) compared to just 2 daily record cold temps (2 daily mins + 0 cool highs). #COwx #Boulder #weather
Exceptional Drought (D4), the most severe category, expanded from 8% to 10% of Colorado this week. The latest increase is concentrated across eastern Boulder County, eastern Larimer County, and western Weld County. #COwx #Drought #Denver #Coloradro

Mid to upper 80s through the weekend, well above normal for mid-October. Mountains see a stray shower or two but the plains stay dry. Cooler air finally arrives Tuesday, bigger pattern shift still fuzzy after that. #Weather #COwx #DenverWX
🌤️ Stop me if you've heard this one before: Another hot and dry day, with a high in the mid-80s in Denver (record: 89, 1910), and a bit breezy this afternoon. 🌡️ Similar tomorrow (low-mid 80s) and Monday before fall-like weather finally arrives Tuesday/Wednesday. #COwx

Good thing SoFi Stadium in LA has a roof. Remnant rain/wind from Tropical Storm Rachel will be moving through LA this weekend, which might've made Sunday's Broncos game a windy/showery one without the roof. #COwx
Rainy, windy weekend ahead for the San Juans, Western Slope and generally from Aspen/Gunnison/Alamosa on west. Localized 1-2"+ rain totals, 30-40+ mph winds. Indoor kind of weekend out west, and will probably take down lots of fall foliage as well. #COwx
Looks increasingly likely that the mountains will (finally) get a few inches of snow down to pass level mid-next week. Very late for a first snow of this kind...but we'll take it. #COwx
