Happy National Coming Out Day! I was lucky to have family friends who were gay men in my life as a kid. Despite that, & having a copy of Our Bodies, Ourselves, I thought it was only safe to come out to certain people. I was wrong then: one boyfriend weaponized it against me in high school.
