This is a feed of multi-shaft weaving! It should pick up posts with #4shaft, #8shaft, and #16shaft.
the first thing i wove on my table loom is this swatch of cloth! i used size 0 lace mercerized cotton yarn in a tabby weave. I'm SO happy with how this came out it actually feels like a legit piece of fabric!!

A few years ago, my husband asked me to weave a cape for him. It is a twill pattern done on my 4-shaft counter balanced Leclerc Nilius floor loom. We got dressed up, blonde wig and all, to enjoy our local Medieval Faire.
I have started dressing my 8 shaft Schacht Baby Wolf floor loom where I will be weaving a set of four placemats using a turned twill pattern. The treadles are tied up. Now, I am beginning to thread the heddles and sley the reed with my warp yarn as I continue to dress the loom.
I've put a 9 yard warp on the #Beka to weave a flock of Strickler #728 dish towels. This first pair of towels have a white weft; each towel onward will have a different weft color. #handwoven #weaving #Brassard
God I love the internet sometimes. Years ago u made this table runner, but I can't remember how it was done & was having a VERY hard time reverse engineering it. I posted on reddit and a couple hours later, someone responded with a graph paper draft 馃槶鉂わ笍
Day 2 teaching spinning and weaving at the beautiful #sanbornmillsfarm in Loudon, New Hampshire. #folkschool
My husband and I did the first half of a weaving class for our 4th anniversary today! (>5hrs 馃珷) We're making textured scarves on rigid heddle looms. Eventually I want to take a floor loom class thru a local guild, but this was an addictive (if not exhausting) start to the hobby! #weaving #crafting
an 8-shaft table loom I've been building. nearly complete, i just need to get a reed for it and build the batten and I'll be set to weave
I received a perfect score on my MSc thesis! I am completely floored. Yes, I worked very hard on it and sacrificed a lot for it...but still...https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.33173312 Pictured is my graduation present from my wife, a vintage Allen floor loom.
Day 30! We made it! 馃帀馃帀 I see myself mainly as a weaver. Then, as a hand stitcher and knitter. I do enjoy dabbling in other fiber art areas to keep life interesting. We will end our 30 day sharing with a woven plaid scarf I made on my 4-shaft counter balanced Leclerc floor loom named My Lady.
George Maxwell's loom off to its new home today. In sh'allah. guildjosephdominic.org.uk/george-maxwe...
Okay, the 30dpi reed is working pretty well! I'm using 22/2 bockens nialin at 24 epi (sleying 0-1-1-1-1). Test weave will be a belt and coaster blanks for myself and cross stitch friends! #weaving #handwoven
