What has God taught you? We asked people at @greenbeltfestival.bsky.social what lessons and perspectives they’ve gained through their faith. What would your answer be?

Here are some of the makers of our crowdfunded book, A Portrait of Greenbelt, talking about the pictures and words they’ve dreamt up. It weaves together @paulwchambers1970.bsky.social’ stunning photography and Pádraig Ó Tuama’s poems, prayers and prose. www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/a-portrait...

Want to scratch your Greenbelt-inspired activist itch? Then listen to Clare. We're teaming up with her campaign charity Operation Noah for an event in London in November – food for thought and action if you care about how faith, politics and care for the planet intersect.

@greenbeltfestival.bsky.social hold the concept of the relationship of art, culture and belief as their central pillar. We ought to send an invitation to Pope Leo XIV, as he's clearly on board with the concept too. Tongue in cheek, yes, but also deeply serious.
To celebrate our years at Boughton we’re publishing A Portrait of Greenbelt: a gorgeous new book of @paulwchambers1970.bsky.social’s stunning wet-plate portraits of Greenbelters, and filled with Pádraig Ó Tuama’s poetic prose. Order your copy: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/a-portrait...
Happy National Poetry Day to all who celebrate! To mark the day, here’s the wonderful Pádraig Ó Tuama reading his poem, The Lifeline, at Greenbelt for us this summer. Here’s to all of us, beginning again.
Found you or your mates yet? There are thousands of photos from this year’s festival on our Flickr for you to enjoy (and send to friends when you spot them). Here’s just a few of our faves… 📷 Mark Kensett, Simon Holmes, Neil Mackin, John Sargent, Ali J
We LOVE this film from Holly celebrating what she was thankful for at Greenbelt this year. It took us back instantly - you can almost smell the wood smoke from The Tiny Tea Tent.

We planted Dave (the red oak tree) at Boughton after Communion this year - a thank you to the beautiful home we have loved for 12 years, and to Dave Cullum (the parkland manager) who we love very much too. So much so that we named the tree after him. Enjoy the photo of the two Daves, united.
Between the Fields is the name we’re giving to this next interim phase for our festival, as we finalise our search for a new home. During the next year there’ll be plenty of ways to get together, other festivals to enjoy, plenty to read and listen to, as we plot our full-on festival return in 2028.
Shibboleth is a magazine about faith, justice and creativity, made by people we believe in. So much so that the Shibboleth team ran out of copies for new subscribers at the festival. They're back in stock now, with an article from our Creative Director in the latest issue. shibbolethmag.com
The sun shone for us at Communion as we all gathered one last time at Boughton this summer. Thank you to everyone who gave so generously to our offering, which is being shared with our friends at Christian Aid and their work in Gaza. You can still give online if you’d like to, via our website.
Someone's badge at @greenbeltfestival.bsky.social called gender-critical people “cunts.” Robbie Spence asked for evidence. Then safeguarding came looking for him. Read what “inclusive” looks like at this progressive Christian festival. roadlesstraveller.substack.com/p/greenbelt-...
Take a bow Greenbelters! Our wonderful team of photographers spent four days in the fields, on the dancefloors, under canvas and across the festival capturing thousands of festival moments. Here’s just a handful for you to enjoy now, with plenty more to come soon.
How is it two weeks already since we danced with our mates to Grace Petrie on the opening night of the festival?
We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of joy and love that Greenbelters have sent our way since the festival finished nine days ago. We have been reading (and watching and listening) with silly, slightly tired, big grins. THANK YOU. Here are some truly splendid words we received from Rachael.
@greenbeltfestival you were an absolute dream. We signed up members, collected stories and photos from vintage SCMers, gave away lots of resources, and still had plenty of time to boogie to The Proclaimers! If you came and said hello at the SCM stall, thank you. It was a joy to connect with you 🫶
