Trying out a reoccurring "Squirmish Card of the Week" post. Mondays seem like the best day, so I'm starting today. First, here's an excerpt from the 3rd edition rule book to explain the card layout. (Image shows a group card. Non-group cards have a white border and no group ability.) #indiegame

The Squirmish Card of the Week is Chimpronaut, a space monkey. With 8 starting HP, it's a solid brawler but the standout trait is its special ability, Banana Rocket. Most cards can only attack adjacent cards, but Chimpronaut specializes in diagonal attacks, hitting for double damage! #indiegame

It's Monday! Time for #SCOTW Squirmish Card of the Week is Damagebot 2000, one of the best defensive cards in the game and a personal favorite. Part bubble wrap, part air bag, resembling an armless Bibendum, DB2K protects your other cards by redirecting damage to itself. 🧵 #GameDev

This week’s Squirmish Card of the Week is everyone’s favorite glass cannon, Killgor the Conqueror. Tiny but tough, he punches way above his weight class and because he’s so cute and cuddly, other cards get distracted and find it hard to land a hit. 🧵 #SCOTW #GameDev

☃️With Christmas upon us, in the spirit of Bumble from the Rudolf movie, today's Squirmish Card of the Week is The Snowbombnible Omen, a card carrying member of the Spooner Valley Cryptid. ❄️ As a group card, it gets a special group ability when more than one member is in play. 🧵 #SCOTW #IndieDev
