Antikythira hosts the largest known breeding colony of Eleonora’s Falcons in Europe and one of the largest in the world. I probably would never have had the chance to see it were it not for the generosity of Trevor Squire. #birds #Antikythira #eleonorasfalcon #birdringing
One of my fondest memories of knowing Trevor Squire was when he invited me to join his ringing team on a trip to the Antikythira Bird Observatory. Great birds and great companymemories I’ll always treasure. #p1000 #birds #bto #birdringing

How do we know where #AquaticWarbler migrate? 🤔 Thanks to bird ringing, we know migration routes, stopover sites and where they spend the winter. Every observation #MigrationWatch helps to better protect Europe's rarest migratory songbird. #LIFE4AquaticWarbler #LIFEproject #BirdRinging
