Hein Prinsen Rather quiet in the patch this morning, but a walk in the forest (sheltering for a cold easterly) produced a soft drumming female Lesser Spotted WP as #76 for the year list and a nice view of a silent male Black WP. Hein Prinsen Nice 4h stroll through the woods to add some year ticks to the local patch list of Hoogekampse Plas & Beukenburg, De Bilt for #DutchPatchworkChallenge with a.o. Middle Spotted and Black Woodpecker, Woodlark, Hawfinch, Crested and Marsh Tit. Now at 58 species for the year.
