A cast of UALVP55700, a Saurornitholestes specimen representing the most complete dromaeosaurid yet known from Alberta. I’ve seen the original specimen up close but this cast does it justice. From the tip of the snout to the base of the tail this specimen is pretty much all there #FossilFriday

In 2019, NMNH debuted new casts of the Stegosaurus and Ceratosaurus skeletons originally collected by Marsh’s teams. Ceratosaurus was casted and assembled in-house, but Stegosaurus was made by RCI. Getting them to fight took great care, and some cardboard stand-ins. #FossilFriday
