This is a new deep-field image from JWST, designed to look for the point of origin of a fast radio burst. The bright, multi-point features are stars in the Milky Way. Everything else is an entire galaxy.

NGC 7129 was captured by JWST 🔭, one MIRI filter, two overlapping images. Hopefully when NIRCam data is released mid December, we will be able to admire the Flower Bud Nebula properly.
