a feed collecting #scanlinesunday and #randomgamesaturday posts. enjoy!
Mark Kilborn I haven’t done #randomgamesaturday in a long time but here goes. Is this the best NES game? Absolutely not. But it’s the only video game my father, who wasn’t into gaming, would ever play with me. So it’s very important to me. Wrecking Crew.
Douglas Laubacher Cursed Snoopy angle. #ScanlineSunday
Bob D. Interlace 🇵🇸 Summer vibes from a couple years ago with Kirby: Planet Robobot #RandomGameSaturday
Dee-lightfully Spooky 🎃🏳️⚧️ Getting back to #RandomGameSaturday with Tech Deck Skateboarding for the Game Boy Color, where you play as a very phallic thumb or finger doing very simple tricks and, from what I can tell, never wiping out.
Koamaterasuhime/Cherry Moon Today's #randomgamesaturday is this. This was the first and only Sonic game I owned as a kid. I remember getting stuck on one of the levels, so I'd like to go back one day to see if I better understand it, now that I'm older. I always did like Blaze and I'm happy she got more popular since.
Extent of the Jam I am away, but here’s an old photo of Sega Rally Revo from my Xbox 360 collection, since people are discussing underrated 360 games on my feed. This one bombed and Sega disbanded the dev group which had been formed just prior to this game. Unfortunate because it’s great. #RandomGameSaturday
伝説の特攻隊長 ~ Posting some wheels for #randomgamesaturday Street supremacy on the psp, it’s another TXR game with a different name so yeah , you already know what to expect after hearing that lol #retrogaming
Goose Here's some thing for #Randomgamesaturday Traded for this baby last week at @charliescollectibleshow.com Happy to finally get my grubby little hands on this one, even if it's a loose copy.
Glenn #RandomGameSaturday Mad Rat Dead (PS4) A rhythmic platforming game from the folks at NIS. You are a lab rat that has been experimented on— but you’re not done living. It’s time for revenge. Jam through dozens of hand drawn levels featuring music by various artists. Very original and cool!
Miggi Let's kind of stay in the Shin Megami Tensei universe for this #RandomGameSaturday. I've also been playing the new Fire Emblem on Switch 2 so this is a perfect fit this week. Love the wide format, the artwork really shines on this one 😌
Daniel Learmouth #RandomGameSaturday I neglected to do a post last week, but here's 'Silent Hill 3'. It's my favourite of the series, but rarely does it get the attention it deserves. Viscerally horrifying with themes I could go on at length over. And Heather is a great character, as well.
SpaceRunaway 🥐 Today’s Random Saturday Game is Galaga ‘88 for the PC Engine. A family friend who’s maybe 10 years older than me had both a TG16 as well as a Turbo Express, the only ones I ever saw in the wild, and this was one of the games I remember (as Galaga ‘90) That is Galactic Dancing #randomgamesaturday
MechaRiki Encore à l'heure pour le #Randomgamesaturday de cette semaine avec le premier Pikmin sur GC
Kl🎃kwurk It's #RandomGameSaturday! Here's EarthBound! Complete with player's guide with (very worn out) Scratch 'N Sniff panels. What a great game.
Spooky Professor Lifestyle Giant I haven't done a #RandomGameSaturday in ages so I reached out in the Vita games set in front of me and I got... Deception IV? I think I bought this from a CeX in Lisbon and never opened the box, never mind played it
Cy #RandomGameSaturday Etrian Mystery Dungeon (Atlus/3DS) This one is still in my backlog! I swear I’ll get to it someday. I wish the sequel was also localized but alas…
Bancho ZX Posting Random Game Saturday! I play read'emups for sleeping aid and had a blast finishing it just now. Story's too engaging for sleep time tho... kept me up more often than not 😅... // 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim | 十三機兵防衛圏 // Nintendo Switch #13Sentinels #switch #RandomGameSaturday
selDOOM 😈 it’s #RandomGameSaturday so i’m playing Arrow Flash! your ship turns into a mech with the press of a button!
Weasel ⛳🏌️ Most of my games are packed up by now but I still have loose cartridges for #RandomGameSaturday - here's Dark Arena, a GBA FPS game featuring level designs from several Doom community figures of the time: Chrozoron, Shaviro, Joe Pallai, Paul Schmitz, Swedish Fish, Vorpal, and Richard Wiles.
Amy N For #RandomGameSaturday my hand strayed towards my PS3 shelf and rested on Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F! A rhythm game featuring Miku and her Vocaloid friends with music videos and cute outfits aplenty… 😊
Plumpkin Slime When I think about our anniversary, I think... New Ghostbusters II, 1990 (EU), Hal Laboratory for NES 16 years ago, @itatton.bsky.social and I got married. On our honeymoon, we drove to Canada. While exploring Toronto, we visited A&C Games (acgamesonline.com). Picked up this gem! #RandomGameSaturday
Away Fae Keyboard “Oh I'm still alive. I'm still alive and I can't apologise, nooooo” #RandomGameSaturday
At0micPunk We're hitting the road on #RandomGameSaturday with Cruis'n World on N64! While the N64 port of Cruis'n USA was considered lacking, World is a much better representation of its arcade counterpoint, and it's still my favorite in the Cruis'n series. #gaming #videogames #retro #retrogaming #n64 #racing
Scarena #RandomGameSaturday This game was kind of a big deal when it was first announced. One of the first truly impressive feeling ports. And I think also one of the first FPS on Switch to be updated to support gyro aiming. So I actually consider this one of the most important Switch games.
Ephemeral Enigmas For this #RandomGameSaturday, I have Gungriffon II, the one game in this mech series that didn't release outside of Japan. Honestly, between all the Armored Core/Front Mission/Steel Battalion fans I see on here and elsewhere, I'm surprised this series doesn't get more attention, it seems cool!
Hayley Barlow Todays pick for #RandomGameSaturday is The Urbz sims in the city on the GameCube ( again played on my Wii )
voidpointer Remember Transarctica by Silmarils? I've never played it, but I've loved the atmosphere and art since I first saw it in a magazine in 1993. #retrogaming #dosgaming #amiga #randomgamesaturday
SaltMarsh have a wonderful #RandomGameSaturday
Zero Caim Helloween edition #RandomGameSaturday Persona 4 and Persona 4 Golden. It was the first Persona and Shin Megami Tensei game I played, and even though it is not my favorite, it is still the one that has the biggest soft spot for me.
