This image shows a picture of a 1970s package of Leggs Panty Hose that came in a large plastic egg. (like 4 times the size of a regular plastic Easter egg. This one shows a drawing of a rabbit on it w/ a pink Mr Sketch Marker (the ones that smell-pink is raspberry smell). These two items are very reminiscent of an early 1970s childhood. The caption at the bottoms says: "Kids today will never know the joy of staying up late to color a special egg for mom."
The photo shows my front porch with a jack-o-lantern, a large bag of cat food, a large bag of dog food and canned pet foods. Behind them on a chair is a bag of potatoes, an acorn squash, and stacked behind that are cans of beans, soup, vegetables, SPAM and tuna.
The image shows a hummingbird feeder with a pocket hand warmer taped to the bottom. This type of feeder holds nectar that hummingbirds fly up to and can stick their long beak/tongue into to reach the food.
This picture shows 500 (or so) 2.5 inch squares cut from various holiday cards. Holiday cards are often made from paper with foil, glitter and embossed images that are raised up. They are often of high quality paper. The cut squares show foil, glitter, reindeer, trees, snowflakes--all sorts of lovely winter images.
Photo shows a small bit of garden with cyclamen plants, a mossy round rock and a more jagged, large white rock. The plants are about 8 inches across and have very rich colored flowers. Each plant is a different color. One magenta, one dark pink, one red and one white. To explain the intensity of the colors think of water. White would be icy water, blue would be cold and cool water, green would be a little warmer, then yellow and orange each warmer with red being HOT. These colors are so intense they would feel like hot water. The white flowers are so starkly white they would feel like snow. There are very few flowers blooming in Oregon this time of year so they are kind of shocking in color and the fact they are blooming when everything else is dead or in winter-mode. Even the leaves are interesting. They are dark green with patterns in them of light green-so even the texture of the leaves adds to how interesting this plant is.
