"In Fish-Off Mode, you'll get to compete against evenly-matched opponents and earn Wrangler Points based on your individual performance and challenge ranking. Additionally, action points spent and earned in Fish-Off Mode will contribute to your accumulated action points, which determine your Tier for your next fish-off challenge as well as your display position on your Friend Records." There are 3 tiers in this event: Beginner (less than 10000 action points), Veteran (10000 to 29999 action points), and Master (30000 or more points).
