Ashen gray charcoal skies hung over the land, crimson strikes of lightning flashed across the clouds beckoning the cracks of thunder to follow like heavenly whips. Crimson snow fell around the Civgull Castle in a radius, not a single flake of powder within several meters of the walls. Hunter and Alex looked from a distance, noting the change and shortly conversing over it.
“Did the castle change?”
“Yes, Hunt, everything changed.”
“Well yes, I know that, I was just trying to say it looks less, well, less ‘Kathuleon’ than the last time we saw it.”
“Yeah, I know.”
The castle’s stone walls were a deep gray with bright stained glass windows, flowers blooming all around the perimeter.
