Let us pray. God our Father, on this day, You opened the way of eternal life through Your Son's victory over death. † Hear our praise; Christ is risen! Let us pray. God, every year we find ourselves entering the night of Your incarnation. Here, You joyfully renew our hope in salvation. † We welcome with joy the presence of Your only Son. He took on flesh and comes to redeem us. * On the day that He returns to judge creation, allow us to look upon Him without fear. Give Your enduring will, Almighty God, to all Your faithful. † For we will meet the Christ with and within works of justice. * In these works, and at His Judgment, we are His companions who embody His will.
