Today's football card of the day is 2010 Topps Torry Holt. I like the 2010 Topps design because of the use of the team wordmarks. For 2010, Topps did players with new teams but of course Holt never made it to the regular season with the Pats. Pretty good Photoshop job.

For some reason, Torry Holt is one of the few non-quarterback players I can recognize by face. I have no idea what Isaac Bruce looks like, or Ricky Proehl. But Holt I could pick out of a lineup.

pretty sure I bought one a year or 2 ago that has a real photo. Not regular season but I'll have to check back.

I like the Patriots script wordmark, meshes better with the team than the current one, which looks like it was a reject from a San Antonio expansion team.

My favorite Torry Holt game was at Atlanta, in 2000. He had 189 yards, on….THREE catches, and two TDs. The 189/3, is the most yards in a game on three catches.

Torry Holt is one of the few players I can recognize from their hands alone.

The streets won’t forget Patriots legend Torry Holt.
