Wip snippet reads: He knows he makes a face as he thinks about how they’d confronted him—gentle but inescapable; they were worried that he was taking on too much work, they barely ever heard from him if they’re not the ones to reach out, he hardly ever spoke about himself even when prompted, and he felt so distant even though he’d shown up to every scheduled meetup. Even Futaba had something to say. He felt cornered, blindsided, betrayed. There was nothing more he wanted to do than scream at them for doing that to him. But he didn’t. That would only make them worry—the thought disgusted Ren more than the anger made him want to lash out. So he pretended to be convinced to seek help. The trouble was, Futaba would know if Ren simply did nothing. She’d go and tell the others, and then they’d have to get involved. Hence Ren’s little research stint—he’d found a quaint little site that clearly had a little more hiding underneath its veneer. If one didn’t look too deep, it seemed legit. Ren knew that Futaba would respect his privacy up to the point of simply reading what sites he’d visited. He doubts that she’d figure that Age and Bon LLC, Mental Rehabilitation Services was a front for a more deviant kind of help. So he’d scheduled a consultation. Ren figures he can just go in, have a bit of fun, and say he tried. He doesn't need them prying any more than they are—he doesn’t need them to see anymore of that ugliness inside, the kind of thing that makes him irrationally angry at them for caring beyond their boundaries.

Once they start, they can't stop. A series of events leads Goro and Akira to adopt a dog, and then some.
A retelling of the events of Persona 5: Royal, but instead Akira has wings and Akechi is bolder.
Akira throws a tantrum.
“If you want to get strong, you’ll have to obey my every command,” Akechi demands, looking down at him as he approaches. For some reason it makes Akira notice how much taller the oni is than him. “Understand?” Akechi says, looking at him with half-lidded eyes. Akira nods eagerly. “Yes! I’ll do whatever it takes!” “Good,” Akechi chuckles, sounding deeper than normal. “Lay on your side.” OR: Akira tries to convince an oni to train him to be stronger. The oni agrees--but it's not quite what Akira had in mind.
"Akira is in the middle of reading a book, his arm curled around Fifi, when his tiny brain niggles at the back of his mind, whispering softly, 'what if filled tub with apply juice?'" OR: Fifi, a bathtub, and a concerning amount of apple juice.
It's Goro's birthday, and Akira has a special present in store for him. (To no one's surprise, it's himself.)
