In our landmark 2020 case, we represented Aimee Stephens who was fired from her job for being transgender. In the decision, the Supreme Court affirmed that LGBTQ people like Aimee are protected from workplace discrimination.

The precedent set in this case continues to protect queer workers against attacks by the Trump administration and beyond. Our plaintiff Aimee Stephens passed away before the decision came down, but we carry her legacy into our continued fight for trans justice.
