Recommendation Letter I am pleased to share this letter confirming that Adam Humphreys participated in and successfully completed the Music Composition for Games course, which I had the pleasure of teaching at ELVTR. Throughout the course, Adam demonstrated an excellent understanding of the material covered in class with exceptionally well-written and produced home assignments and a final project. He excelled in composing original game music that effectively balanced creativity and technical precision, showcasing a strong ability to create immersive and genre-specific soundscapes. Adam truly excelled by receiving the highest overall score in the class, a remarkable achievement to be incredibly proud of! Adam's music is unique and steeped in the worlds of classical and jazz, with wonderful production quality and an interesting voice. In the program, Adam gained hands-on experience with key industry concepts, such as thematic writing, planning and producing interactive music, and understanding the technical requirements for live and MIDI compositions. He also explored advanced topics like syncing music to gameplay, crafting atmospheric cues, and managing production workflows for game soundtracks. His ability to internalize and apply these skills was evident in the quality of his work. It has been a pleasure working with Adam.
