Every route that feeds into NLTC has at least one direction where it's just wildly circuitous going through. This maneuver can add 5-10 minutes at rush hour to the 801 There's not really any way to improve any of this without getting state approval and building an expensive overpass

the area around NLTC just...sucks so bad. The connectivity is awful. Even if you build a pedestrian overpass over North Lamar like Project Connect is planning (and this segment is 10+ years out), going south will just be a miserable experience of frogger across several frontage roads
