Comforting darkness and the soft noises of the night surround me. I play the role of the commanding daemon dragon, One to stand and guide others, To entertain and embolden. Yet I'm still wracked by my own inner demons. My own failings, real and perceived constantly haunting me, convincing myself that I should be doing more and doing better for the people i care about. I put on masks to guard myself and better play the character I should be, but those masks have been harder and harder to wear. I'm no would be lord, or emperor. Just a scared spirit desperate to not lose the few things he cares about. I've been blessed with a caring family who's willing to care for me despite my debilitating mental states, yet i always feel like my own traumas and anxieties are miniscule compared to what others suffer through. I feel like a burden and a leech, yet these loved ones still stand by me, insisting that i deserve to be taken care of. In an attempt to aid my anxieties, I've been instructed to take up several things. I've begun meditating on the regular late at night and in the morning, and soon I'll begin cultivating flora and fauna on my family's property. The logic is by keeping myself busy and providing some means of produce, I'll finally breach through the anxieties that's been plaguing me. A place where i can work without feeling pressured by past experiences and traumas with abusive employers and severe weather. In addition, I've been ordered to further foster my creativity. Three stories a month, Length and subject don't matter. Maybe these will finally help. Who knows. If you've read this whole alt-text. Thank you. Its just a means to get my thoughts and feelings public for those who aren't in the aeon discord. Its long winded, but i appreciate you hearing out my stream of conscious ramblings.
