The day after watching this I saw two guys kissing on the street and thought to myself "Life Imitates Art.” Two days later I happened upon an Instagram reel of a man in his car saying he saw two Asian guys "kissing and some MORE shit," and that he had "never actually seen gay Asians before," and the phrase "and some MORE shit" has flitted through my mind in certain situations since, for example when the waiter asks me if That will be all even though I've only ordered the appetizer and a drink so far. Another phrase routinely stuck in my head (from a meme my twitter friend made) is “Trust me, you ain’t gonna be straight in Philly,” a phrase that bores right to the core of the mind, and basically whenever I am in any city, I will inevitably and repeatedly think of a local variant (Trust me, you ain’t gonna be straight in Williamsburg, etc) although it never quite hits the same – must be something to do with that Philly Phunk.
