He licked his thumb and forefinger and lifted a leaf of the book, then tore it from the spine. Oisin's heart thrummed with anger. Cairbre offered him the loose paper, now glamoured to show a map on it. "I won't pay your price," Oisin insisted. "Don't worry," Cairbre said. He took Oisin's hand with cold, smooth fingers. Oisin tried to wrench away, but he was held fast. Cairbre pressed the map into Oisin's palm. "This one is free."
