Westport, methport , the town that flooded. Uninsurable the doomed town. Bla bla bla. I am lucky enough to live in Christchurch and have a holiday home in westport to run away too and I heard the same crap about Christchurch after the quakes. Just like the storm that brought the rain this will pass. Life can be hard and I have plenty of scars physical and emotional. From dumb accidents to a divorce they have all left a mark but westport is the 1 place that makes me smile 😃. The gateway to the north. Heathy trail. Oparara arches.
