That last part is key, thanks to Mr. Slick's Lick Stick, an ability you can't help but read aloud when you use it. What that Lick Stick do? I'll tell ya. It fixes yourself in place, and either whips around like a wet metal lasso, or yanks a Near fellow right into Gobbling zone.

2.5 star letterboxd review Here's what I liked: * Every time the cat was on screen * Much of the humor * Movie had heart, even if the ultimate message was perhaps a little cliched * Almost all of the acting was phenomenal, Skeletor especially Here's what I disliked: * Skeletor makes a biblical reference. Please, screenwriters, for the love of all that is good look up what "prodigal" means and if you're using it to mean "someone who leaves and come back", ESPECIALLY with the phrase "prodigal son", ask yourself "does this character know who Jesus is?" * The cat gets like 3 minutes of screentime. * Death scenes that last exactly long enough to deliver a touching soliloquy * The movie seemed embarrassed by the names of the characters. It tried to have it both ways by saying that a 10 year old came up with them, but at no point did anyone say "My name isn't Fisto, it's Jack." * The cat and the robot would often disappear from the background of scenes and then re-appear when it was next plot relevant. See the Endor chase sequence and the jail scene especially. * Evil-lynn came off as... not quite wooden, but a bit stilted? It was fun! It's in the exact same genre as the D&D movie (heartfelt genre adventure film with equal parts heart and humor), but that movie did it better and felt more grounded

Whenever an Operative is voted MVP of a mission (see Downtime actions, page XX), they obtain a pilot perk. Perks do not occupy a slot in loadout, neither do any abilities they grant. Once a perk is obtained, cross it out. It cannot be chosen again for this copy of the book. These perks go on the pilot, not the mech. The penultimate line is underlined.
Psychic squadmates Mutual, exclusive (you can only have one). When you and your squadmate are on a mission together, you each roll +1 die on Attribute checks. If at least one pair of psychic squadmates is on the secondary mission, it is rolled with +1 die. Whenever your squadmate gains a condition (Slowd, Rampage, Screwed, etc.), you also gain it. If your squadmate is Injured, dies, or has their mech disabled, you suffer the same fate. Each Operative may only have one psychic squadmate.
Roommates mutual, exclusive (you can only have one). You and your roommate start a shared, directional 4-clock with 2 spots shaded in. One of you is clockwise (shaded), the other is counter-clockwise (unshaded). You and your roommate can use each other’s items as if you had brought them. Whenever you use one of your roommates items, advance the clock in your direction. Whenever your roommate uses one of your items, advance the clock in their direction. If the clock ever fills up or is entirely empty, the relationship becomes Strained at the following Downtime. God, stop asking, mom!
