Federal immigration officers have been collecting personal information about protesters and agitators in Minneapolis, sources told CNN – and had documented details about Alex Pretti before he was shot to death on Saturday. It is unclear how Pretti first came to the attention of federal authorities, but sources told CNN that about a week before his death, he suffered a broken rib when a group of federal officers tackled him while he was protesting their attempt to detain other individuals. In a statement, the Department of Homeland Security said that “DHS law enforcement has no record of this incident.”

Zeiter believes the platform will become a “better version of Twitter,” with an emphasis on respectful interaction and accountability. In line with EU social platform legislation, W will require every user to verify their identity, as Twitter did before Musk bought it in 2022. She explained the need for verification was to eliminate fake accounts and automated bots that amplify propaganda or false information.

Det verkar som om de tänkta att W Social ska ha Chat Control som en del av sin funktionalitet. Chansen att det ska bli nåt intressant är nästan obefintlig. Men det kan säkert få en del användare ändå.
