Being able to begin with a funder (or a specific grant) and then find societal re-use is a shortcut to grant effectiveness measurement that fully outpaces what funders know about their own grant performance. Researchers stop reporting to funders what the grant did eventually. We never stop hunting.

If and when those inevitable flat-footed accusations come that the populace of any nation our region is not being served by research funding, you want a solid base with which to refute this. Do not underreport what your funding has done. @ec.europa.eu FYI (but you're not alone in this!)
