One of the arguments for having it up full-time is it staves away the wrong kind of people. Zig used to have a very visible pride-flag (instead of the lines-of-code coloring it has now, which you really don't notice) and you can guess what kind of people were the ones complaining about it (and what kind of people started showing up once it was gone)

Works for Zig people but does not work for me

I guess the easiest way to put it is: very few people in the Zig world stop to think "has somebody already tried this?" and almost none consider "what did they learn?"

Assume a 4 dimensional creature picked me up, rotated me in 4d space such that I was reflected across a 3d axis, and placed me down such that the fact there was ever a 4th dimension is no longer observable. Would I die of anything before dying of starvation due to being unable to eat the proper chirality sugars? Or would starvation be my first cause of death?

I argue that you would starve first, but someone else says that you would die of neurological complications first. But I don't see how that could be true because:
1. the air doesn't contain enough dead skin to cause neurotoxin issues due to flipped L- and D- amino acids,
2. all your existing neurotransmitters, amino acids, bacteria&fungi, anything on or in your body would also be flipped, so the brain & other organs would function as normal,

this is like my own personal 1 million lions vs every pokemon question I just can't stop thinking about it
