Bird felting progress A yellow terry cloth towel covers a pillow. On it at the top right is a finished felted bird, on its side. A rough wing is pinned to the pillow beside the finished bird, another wing is pinned beneath. The in progress bird is roughly center, a white blob with beige feet. Beside it are two small rakes. Two kitchen sponges (unused for kitchen) are stacked, with felting needles in wood handles pushed into them. The top most red sponge has an area of compaction from repeated felting. Above the sponge at right is the unfinished tail pinned to the towel.

There is a spherical silvered glass ornament with red and green stripes, which might be antique, I forget which ones are which, in the foreground. 220 metres of forest green heathered yarn spun from Custom Mills out of Alberta, Canada. It is on a homemade niddy noddy: about $10 in PVC parts makes a full niddy noddy with interchangeable center sections. This is set up for 1 meter winding path. The clear part with cylinder in center is where the ink cartridge clicks into place - the cartridges are intended as single use, and have been refilled via syringe by me with not Pilot ink formulated for specific feed system

A bin of trimmed yew branches. Probably English Yew, but not entirely sure - it existed before we bought the townhouse, previous owner was deceased and couldn't tell us about the plants. There is a ripe red fruit with seed visible on one of the twigs. Beside it is an immature paler fruit that has the seed inside of it. Some green fruit have the seed visible - possibly male and female fruit?

Bonnechere River from waist deep, looking downstream. Blue dark water with small ripples from wind. The shoreline is mix of coniferous and broad leaf trees. Some of the trees look desaturated from changing colours with the shift in seasons.
A bin of black sat lights in black basket style holders. They are arranged mostly in alternating top to bottom, to fit the most in the bin. Around the bin are other solar lights, a pair of pj pants I was sitting on, one of my feet, a water bottle. And a lot of pine needles.
