I wanted to recreate the outline from @gracebruxner.bsky.social frog detective, I used a signed distance field mine but I actually don't think they use this so there might be a cleaner way to do this

I wonder if it gets closer when you slightly blur the SDF, maybe it gets closer then? 🤔 Unless Grace answers here directly you could always try attaching RenderDoc to find out how it was done :)
