The game starts showing the name, Dissimulation, and a hand uses the lit up arrow buttons to move around a pixelated dungeon in 90 degree turns and discrete steps. They turn on a light, showing a clue written on a wall, which relates to a puzzle panel. When they look at the panel, the same shape appears on the midi controller, and pressing the buttons seems to add 'lights' which illuminate the row and column they are on. The player solves the puzzle, the gate the panel is on slides away, and they move deeper into more complicated puzzles and new coloured symbols.

The same midi control surface only this time so the pads are lit up and slowly cycling through a rainbow changing effect. Now when a button is pressed it flashed white briefly and the fades to off in about a quarter of a second

The fade isn't linear and they emulated a incandescent bulb turning off with a little red glow at the end.

A series of waves roll in, crashing against the flat beach and flowing around the rocks, causing waves to interact between it and the camera. The waves regularly wash up off the bottom of the view too, making it seem like the viewer is slightly in the sea. Once or twice a gull flies by low to the sea, and the very observant might even see the black shape of a cormorant diving on the waves.
