Hey #believeinfilm friends, Today I review Candido 800 — a new colour-negative film that some compare to CineStill (but I disagree) — www.analog.cafe/r/candido-80... Have any of you tried it? Are your results at all comparable to mine? I'm seeing different things than on the Candido website. 🎞️📸

It's definitely Kodak cinema stock of some kind judging by the edge marks.

Yes I recently shot a roll & got similar results. Since it’s Vision3 500T without the remjet layer I was tempted to try it with a 85 or 82 warming filter but decided to go natural.

I wonder how it would look with a warming filter on it, because right now it's overly cool, and not in a sexy Fujifilm or ektachrome kind of way. Everyone looks green

Odd. Wonder if they've pre-flashed it with longer wavelengths to try to even out the color channels....
