I'd say the way it can actually be compared is that the beginning is fun, sex is fun the same way that just throwing your ideas for a show or comic is fun, sure some parts suck and aren't for you but that's fine, that's what exploration is all about for god sakes some things don't stick and that's fine. Then you get the news, you're having a baby compare that shit to hearing that your show or comic has been greenlit, it's real, you're creation is gonna be real and go out into the whole world, your child is gonna be fucking real! Now you have to get ready for it's release, for your child's birth you have to work your ass off, you're gonna spend some days happy and excited cause it's finally real, you're finally doing it, you're making your art real for the world, you're making your godman child real for the whole world and other days sad and scared cause jesus christ what if you fuck up, what if the ending is wrong, what if my child is dead at birth! But then the day comes, you've released the pilot, you're child has been born alive and healthy, all that worry and fear, all that joy and excitement, it all melts cause right now it's real in front of you and you just feel joy cause you've done it, you've fucking done it and now it's time for the next step, this time alongside your child, alongside your comic, alongside your show cause it's no longer just a thought, it's fucking real and that's beautiful. AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL CAUSE YOU PUT FUCKING EFFORT INTO IT, YOU PUT EFFORT INTO GETTING YOUR GODAMN CHILD TO BE REAL
