The fire on the Brooklyn Bridge now appears to be extinguished, according to a New York City police spokesman.
There is a fire on the Brooklyn Bridge, “very likely” caused by the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks show, a New York City police spokesperson said. He added that there appear to be no injuries at this time, and firefighters are on the scene. The fire started about 10 to 15 minutes ago.
Gibby the Wheaten Terrier stares accusingly at the camera even though she is the one taking up space she should not be occupying. She is forgiven because there is a bandage on her paw that is quite frankly her own fault.
