Filming my iPad on my porch running my web game Generation Ship 2. In the game I’m in the 3d explore mode where you can walk around the habitat you’ve been building. I’ve also activated a meditation beacon which takes over the camera movement and flies around the world calmly.

I added some messaging to the app's dashboard with some words of encouragement to the user (me) for applying to jobs. The text is selected based on either the total number of applications applied to that week or the current daily streak, and then randomly selected from several options for each.

End screen from my game showing the final game board and score. My final score for today’s game was 28,919. I think I got a good boost (3,130 points) from the “Habitat survival bonus” which is from keeping habitat tiles alive for most of the game.

After setting up an initial design of tile types I zoom out a bit to see more of the grid and then unpause the game. I also use the inspect tile to look at the center habitat tile I painted and I can see things like its age.
I go into meditation mode from the main menu. I pause the autoplayer, paint a smiley face with some habitat and farm tiles, unpause the player, and drag around to show infinite scrolling.

Showing a playthrough of a game I made where you need to place cards down on a table to get from a starting card to an end card. You can only place cards if they are the same color or if they have connecting rivers or roads. Face cards can be placed anywhere. You can only move your player piece along rivers, roads, or to cards with a lower value. Dungeons and dragons can only be moved to by rolling a D12 or 2d6 against a randomly drawn card.

Recording a full playthrough of today’s daily challenge sped up to fit under 3min. Total play time was about 15min which is typical and what I’m shooting for with this game. It’s supposed to be something you play commuting on the bus or train. Gameplay seen in the video is placing tiles to try and maximize the ecological and population scores. The tiles drawn from the deck is a random seed each day. Today’s deck didn’t include a lot of farm tiles so it was hard to maintain a large population. The trees did well though. Towards the end of the game I went into 3d mode which allows you to walk around the world you’ve been cultivating. There is a day night cycle with an artificial sun arcing through the sky. Newly added are emissive texture maps to habitat windows that turn on at night. The game ends when the deck runs out and a score recap is seen with a histogram of previous scores saved to localStorage in the browser.
It reads “DEMAND UTOPIA” and in the negative space of the letters there are two wind turbines on a hill.
A website I made where you can view the past 12,000, 120,000, or 600,000 years of human history on a timeline. In the video I scroll the timeline for 120,000 years where 1 pixel = 10 years. At the end of the video I change the scale to 1 pixel equals 1 year and data points in more relative recent history become clearer.

Screenrecording of my game which uses the webcam to track the user's hands which control platforms. Little rectangle people spawn from the top left of the screen. The goal is to get as many as possible to the goal square in the lower right. The floor is lava. There is also a vertically moving wall in the middle blocking a direct step path to the goal.
Its a screen recording of my browser, showing a little experiment I made with ml5.js for pose detection and matter.js for physics. On the page is a <canvas> element showing my camera. I am controlling two platform objects with my hands. Lots of little dudes (simple rectangles) spawn in the air landing on the platforms then walking off. When they hit the bottom they pop and disappear. In the top corner a count of the players is displayed.
