Ju's #promptcombo #free40 this morning was tricky! I had a go at something seasonal, trying to remember that the real world rests and restores regardless of human ignorance and stupidity. Thanks @hool415.bsky.social for the prompt I'll try to read others later! #poems #poetry #writingcommunity

I like this and it works in reverse.

That sentiment cuts right through. The willows don't care about the headlines — they just bud anyway. Something quietly defiant about nature's indifference to all the noise we make. Really beautiful piece from a genuinely tricky prompt.

The "real world" is a lovely way to reference Nature.

That's why I love to stroll the woods once Spring begins hiding in the first flowers. Loved the line about wild garlic since we have a lot of it around here and just reading about it evokes that scent (an acquired one, but I like it) that fills the forest. Wonderful evocative poem! ☀️✒️💜

This is exquisite. I want to set it to music.

Can almost smell this and feel the Spring air. Against the current backdrop the title sounds like a hopeful mantra. I'll keep repeating it! Soon.
