Anil Dash @anildash.com · May 29 In the 90s, he’d join us fans in our AOL chat rooms; by the 2010s, he’d go back and forth with us in the wee hours on social media. (Always deleting his posts afterward to cover his tracks/protect the mystique.) But he would answer questions, joke around, etc.

I'm always fascinated by stars who engage authentically with random fans. Brian Eno does this. So does (or did) Ian McKellan, he had a fantastic proto-blog on his personal website.
