Luci opens the closet door, for Kimi and Maddi to go tumbling out. Luci pulls Kimi's ear as she's crumpled on the floor Luci: huh, she's so... it's like she's real... Kimi: w-well, I am- AGH! Maddi: stop bein' weird. Are you mad at me or not? Luci: Mad? Why would I be? Like, Maddi. look at this. Luci picks up Kimi in a bear hug, straining her back with a kreak Luci: THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE!! Maddi: Weren't you saying her show was stupid? Luci turns Kimi away from Maddi, still over her shoulder Luci: How dare you!! She could hear you say that!

Luci asks for the DVD back, Maddi says she left it back at her place. Luci asks if she didn't finish it yet, to which Maddi says "Still... Getting to know her, I suppose." Luci Says back "Maddi, it ain't Evangelion. It's Good Luck Kimi, Just a stupid 90's slice-of-life, with a naive, airheaded-" all while Maddi is waving off someone in the background worried. It was Kimi, popping into class asking what's going on. Luci Freaks out and passes out.
Luci makes her first appearance talking to Maddi about Leon vs James. Maddi is too lost in her own thoughts about the Kimi situation, when she is brought back to reality by Luci, she makes a very embarrassing comment that makes Luci judge her, assumptions about her daydreaming are made.

Harper and Maddi are walking down the campus pathway as there are other students going along to classes. Harper asks "Maddi... You think someone on campus might recognize Kimi?" Maddi replies "Nah. Her show's so obscure, I doubt even people from Japan would recognize her." Harper does her ponytail/bun up again while she continues by saying "If there's one thing I've learned from having a turbo geek of a brother, it only takes one of them to connect the dots. You two would be perfect for each other. Maddi, off screen, says "Oh, be still my beating heart... or whatever." Harper, in the next panel, asks Maddi "...Where'd you even get that DVD from, Anyways?" Maddi thinks about it and responds with "Uhhh... I think I borrowed it from my friend Luci. Was gonna return it the next time I-" The next panel shows Maddi realizing she can't give it back now given whats happened, saying "oh." Harper looks peeved. "'OH'? That's it? You can't even give it back now! What's she gonna do when she find's out miss Japanimation is on campus, huh?!" Harper asks, looking more distressed. Maddi shrugs, saying "...Snap a pic with her, probably." Harper buries her face in her hands.

Harper is sleeping, when she gets disturbed by Kimi exclaiming "Oh No! I'm gonna be late for class!". She enters Harper's room and says "Harper-chan! Which building are my classes in again?" Kimi realizes Harper is still asleep, and with her cartoon anime abilities that defy logic for no real reason, she poofs into a shrine maiden outfit with a gong, repeatedly banging on it to wake Harper up. She yells "Harper-chan you're gonna be late too!!". Harper covers her ears and screams "AAAHH KIMI, WE DONT HAVE CLASSES ON NATIONAL HOLIDAYS!!"

Ohio kneels down, Indiana attempts to type on his laptop. Ohio: Well there's My sandals ruined. ...wh- HEY! Ohio speaks directly to Indy, offended. Ohio: You were just IGNORING ME this whole time?? Indiana, taking off his headphones: Clearly not hard enough.
Tandy stands at the order window holding up a handful of unopened mail. Coco stands next to the window on the other side, in the kitchen. Tandy: Yo, Coco! Bills are due soon, how're we payin' for these? Coco: OH! I... thought we covered them already? Tandy: Those were last month's. We're behind. Coco is holding a soup pot and starting to walk away. Coco, nervously: oh. ...h-hey, you ever thought of ways to help the local students before? Tandy puts her head in her hand and leans on the order window counter. Tandy: You're gonna set up an open mic night and hope all the arts majors roll in, huh? Coco, glancing to the side: ...maybe. In the next panel, it is dark and it is focused in the cafe. Tandy is leaning on the service counter, rolling eyes annoyed. There is a spotlight, a stool, microphone stand set up. Flip, standing next to the hand bell on the counter: w-well I mean, it's just you and Tandy behind the counter right? It's not like - Flip is cut off by being smacked flat with a hand. WHAP Tandy: Two breakfast burritos to go! Coco covers her face is horrified shock. Tandy is in shock, holding an open smile and her hand still on Flip. A moment passes. Tandy, sheepishly curling her hand back: ...hey Flip. Flip: ...h-hey again, Tandy. Coco lets out a huge sigh of relief.
