Decoding of hippocampal theta sweeps during memory-guided navigation. Video shows spatial locations decoded (color blobs) during three consecutive theta sweeps as the rat is about to leave the home box and enter the maze. A long sweep extending to one of the hidden water rewards (starts) appears intermingled with two lateral sweeps.
