Why did the speech text on iMac G3 call an asterisk a castro? The speech synthesis on the iMac G3, particularly in the earlier versions of Mac OS, had some quirky and sometimes humorous mispronunciations due to limitations in its text-to-speech algorithms. The term "castro" for the asterisk symbol can be attributed to a phonetic misinterpretation by the system's speech engine. Reasons for the Mispronunciation: Phonetic Limitations: The speech engine might have had difficulty correlating the asterisk symbol (*) with its correct pronunciation, confusing it with a word that sounded somewhat similar. Database Entries: The text-to-speech software uses a database of words and phonetic mappings. If "asterisk" wasn’t well-defined or properly included in that database, the algorithm could have produced an incorrect match, leading to "castro." Humorous Design: Sometimes, features like these were designed with playfulness in mind, reflecting the quirky culture of Apple's earlier software development. Such amusing idiosyncrasies were part of what made the iMac G3 memorable in its time.

It should work just fine with any 5400 RPM hdd, it does not need to be an official X360 hdd. You do have to modify some data on the drive but it won't stop it from working on an unmodded console...
