A shadowbox containing a pinned Hercules beetle, dried hibiscus seed pods, and dried sourwood blossoms. the Hercules beetle is greenish gray with brown spots on his elytra, which are spread to allow his wings to fully unfurl. the hibiscus pods are a brownish yellow similar to the amber of the beetle wings and frame the bottom left corner. the sourwood bundle is the brown with many down-facing "blossoms" and makes up the left side of the arrangement.
