Both Goliath hands are busy, one with a large flagon of ale raised to his bearded chin; the other clutching what remains of a piece of cake that has been snatched from the table behind, leaving the rest of the cake tottering due to the assault on its structural integrity. Our barbarian friend is decked out in a fashionable green plaid kilt as befits the man from the mountains, adorned with a sporran fashioned from the skull of some long gone enemy and fastened to his dwarven belt that allows him to sport his trademark black beard, now smeared with purple icing from the spoils of his plunder.

The ominous pulsing machine stands on another rock outcrop, while the machine it controls and maintains is not yet visible.
