A time lapse of myself working on an acrylic painting. I start off by tracing a digital sketch onto my canvas using a projector. From there I move to my table and begin layering out a monochromatic background with Phtalo Blue, adding a touch of Alizuran Crimson to make the moon purple. Afterwords I begin working on the jackalope character who is riding a motorcycle while holding a bat. The jackalope (Roux) has brown-red fur with cream colored fur for thier chest and muzzle. Roux has two small horns, one of which is broken off which poke through her short red hair. The motorcycle she is riding is a subdued red compared to her hair but stands out well against the blue background. Roux is wearing a black leather jacket with a florescent magenta interior.
