Nintendo Switch boxes for Densha De Go and Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack. Both never made their way to the US. Corpse Party is fully translated in English.
Screenshot of my typed out thoughts. It reads: “I think the new cast is really solid and they’ll probably do great work. I do wish Richard Epcar would return to do Batou one last time since he’s the ONLY remaining cast member from the original 1995 film still in the industry. Hell, at one point, he voiced Batou more times than Akio Otsuka (Shinji Ogawa took over the role for the 1997 PS1 video game). It’s not the first time the English and Japanese casts have been replaced (Arise replaced everyone on both sides of the ocean, PS1 game replaced the 1995 Japanese cast while retaining their English counterparts, etc.) and this clean break was probably needed considering mainstays in Japanese and English have passed away (RIP Atsuko Tanaka and Williams Fredrick Knight) so I’m not exactly upset about it or anything. Just like Arise, it’ll definitely be a bit of an adjustment after having the Stand Alone Complex voices through so many seasons, movies and games. I look forward to seeing the show in a few weeks!”
